Spending the morning with these two was so much fun! I love seeing couples in love and am so excited for them to get hitched soon!!

This session went by so fast! We had the whole thing wrapped up in a half hour- it probably helped that they are so beautiful to begin with, have model smiles on demand, and were just naturals in front of the camera.

I'm sure you'll recognize the location from a lot of my other photoshoots. This particular building just happens to work at any time of day, has a railroad track running by it, and has a few parks nearby. It was recently up for sale an I was wishing I could have bought it to have as a studio someday.

Anyway, I promise I love to take pictures other places!! In fact that is a goal of mine this summer- to take more pictures and find lots of new locations. I've got all the local parks mapped out and am hoping to take more pictures in downtown Logan with more of a street feel to them. Do you have an idea or location that you have been wanting to have your pictures taken at? I would looooove to make it happen for you:)

It's been a long time

Uh oh. I see a pattern starting here again. One I had with my old blogs that I was hoping to avoid here by combining my photo and design blogs.

Truth be told I've been busy with more design stuff that isn't really the type of stuff to be shared on a blog like this. Little jobs and favors here and there, but enough to keep me busy. Plus I've been sick. Plus life is just busy.

I feel like it is important to at least try still though to some relevant stuff here whenever I can though, right? Someday maybe I'll even be consistent about it:) Until then, here are some peeks into some of my latest photography sessions...

First up- an awesome family- this session was put together pretty last minute and we were rushing to try to beat some impending clouds and stormy weather that was threatening above. The stars aligned somehow though and the minute we decided to start wrapping things up, the storm came. And here are some of my favorites from a photoshoot with one of my favorite little girls to photograph. I've gotten to do a couple of other photo sessions with her and can't believe she is already ONE year old!!

Spring is here! The grass is getting greener. The flowers are starting to bloom. And there are sweet little baby animals everywhere. Talk about opportunities for great pictures!! I put together some Easter outfits for my little sweeties, took advantage of of some great spring weather and borrowed my neighbor's sweet little pigmy goat... and now I want one. Bad. So sweet, so loving, and the adorable way she moved, prancing and dancing, and jumping and running around!! Oh my. I kind of fell in love. I am starting to think a goat may be the way to go for our first little pet.

So, do you have any plans/traditions for St. Patty's day?

My husband is going to run a 5k and I am debating on joining him. I am not in very good shape but maybe that would be a good wake up call and/or kick start to a new spring/summer workout plan.

Other than that I will be trying to make the day fun with some green food. Green eggs and ham was always a favorite growing up. This year I'm think of doing some sort of treasure hunt with clues around the house in search for a pot of gold with treats...
